FAQs
What is a wrap?
A vehicle wrap is a process whereby pressure-sensitive vinyl – we can wrap your car in almost any colour or finish – the wrap is applied by hand onto a vehicle’s painted surface. Wrapping a vehicle also helps to protect the vehicles paint and body work.
Do you have to have a full wrap
We can part wrap or full wrap your vehicle, we can also just add graphics where needed.
How long does it take to wrap my car?
Each wrap takes a different amount of time dependant on the vehicle and product we are using. If it’s a full wrap we normally ask that the vehicle be left with us for a couple of days as all wraps need to be completed indoors in a temperature controlled room. We also ask that your vehicle is cleaned in preparation, but no wax or shine to be used. We will then prepare your vehicle ready for the wrap. This includes removing lights, door handles and badges etc.
Can wrap be removed?
Yes, the wrap can be removed at any point in the future. It simply just peels off returning the vehicle back to its original paint colour. You must remember that if your vehicle has had a paint re-spray, blow-over, re-lacquer or has poor quality paint prior to the wrap then we cannot guarantee the above. If your vehicle has stone chips prior to the wrap, there is a chance this could also cause damage if the wrap is removed.
How long will the wrap last?
A wrap typically last for 7-10 years depending on the material used and conditions in which the car is driven and stored. Keeping the car clean is important!
How long do I leave washing my car after having graphics fitted?
We recommend you leave your vehicle at least 48 hours after fit before washing it, this is dependent on weather conditions too. In colder months, we would recommend at least 72 hours for the graphics to settle. We highly recommend that for the first couple of washes you can wash rather than jet washing.
